Keeek it surprises me how nobody notices how bad Librewolf has really gotten. Crazy how the 6 of them (3 in reality as maltejur admitted) can't even keep up with Arkenfox prefs which as it seems to stand is the real backbone behind Librewolf.

You can see two of the maintainers admit all this and Thorin dunk on them in this Github thread (https://github.com/arkenfox/user.js/issues/1906#issuecomment-2443323664).

My advice? Switch to Tor/Mullvad browser (Thorin works on them too Afaik) if you still want Firefox for general browsing. I'll admit that it's not looking good for the private browser scene right now.

Hey Bro this mCaptcha sometimes leads to endless refreshing on Brave (Linux only tested) than i had to manually reload page several times and than it worked for what ever reason. Maybe unclean integration of service using nginx proxy or watch ever. If more people complain about this please look into it. Great work so far peace!

Fijxu is correct, browser fingerprinting is far more important than purely IP tracking these days. Look into firefox hardening or at least use the actual Tor Browser. The goal isn't to be 100% untraceable (if that's even possible with modern hardware fuckery), just to make the oncocytes work for it. Consider the above + legacy hardware dedicated to only youtube viewing and nothing else.

Again, how many users does invidious even have compared to youtube? It likely costs them more to block this than anything they make back with ads.

I don't think "enshittification" goes far enough. More like carcinisation. Terminal enshittification? Glowing crab people? I think that accurately describes the soulless meat computers working on this sort of thing. Can't expect objects to have a conscience I suppose. Somewhere out there, a person in a country without free & open access to internet just lost their only way of keeping up to date.
