Invidious Instance Information

The nadeko.net Invidious can be accessed from the internet and multiple overlay networks:

If there is a problem with any of them, feel free to contact me

This Invidious instance has features that are probably not available on other instances, like the ability to change "backends" which are basically just the available servers for you to use to play the video you want to play. They are hosted in different locations and it's always recommended to choose the one that is near to you.

What does the colored square next to each backend means?

Green means that the backend is working correctly, Yellow means that the backend is blocked, but may be unblocked after some time and Red means that the backend is not available.

You will not be able to use Yellow and Red backends as Invidious automatically ignores them when they are in that state.

I can't pass the Captcha, fuck you!

Well, if you can't pass the captcha, feel free to contact me with details about your OS and browser you use so I can add an exception for it!

The captcha is there to prevent abusers and automated bots to use the instance to scrape data from Youtube using the instance, how is this harmful for the instance? Well, around 2024, Youtube started to add limitations and rate-limits to prevent abusers and bots on their site, displaying a message that says "This helps protect our community" when they blocked an IP address, so having "bot" traffic that can trigger Youtube's blocking systems and therefore blocking the whole instance is not desirable for us (people like me that host public Invidious instances) and it disrupts the service for real people that actually want to just watch a video without the Youtube tracking and bloat bullshit.
