Hahaha, so i had a funny dream. SO i was propmted to solve a _DOUBLE CAPTCHA_, an announcement link to the left as usual. Those look faker than the DESCARGAR buttons i found at megaupload.co

I was right, there were two big green CAPTCHA buttons on top of each other, I was supposed to click them twice... Of course that didn't go further in my dream because I'm not a type for continuity :3


Later that dream I was clicking on youtube links... 3 of them. I told my self ' oooh noo!!! I must change the link to NADEKO before one of them auto plays or smthhh!!! ' So I went and I did that... XD

Javascript is literally an RCE, being able to watch youtube on invidious with JS completely disabled was a mega flex, now its just "ight"

If we cant completely get back to no JS, I will have to become one of those "watches youtube with mpv"
or just a yt-dlp script that downloads all my subscribed channel's new videos and dumps them on an FTP server lol

Hopefully we can find a solution. I honestly wouldn't mind it being similar the guestbook captcha, make it a bit harder with more distortion maybe. Could even keep both and then just fallback to the "Old Captchas" when JS is disabled.

it just goes between random quality presets, usually 144p and you have to click on 1080p for every video manually

Hey guys, dear Fixyu. Of low importance but may you please set the search bar as the default invidious start page? It saves time and net instead of fetching the whole feed first and it helps promote more focus - like a "zen" kind of start. There are actually two feed buttons so people can choose freely. The current start is too nerd-biased anyways :P (no offense intended)

Hi again! Looks like the Anubis captcha has just now stopped working for me for some reason. It was working fine when you first added it and I'm pretty sure I also saw it appear for a few seconds sometime this morning, so whatever change broke it likely occurred today.

The text now just stays on "Loading..." forever (screenshot: https://ayaya.beauty/kXK) and in the console I get "SyntaxError: expected expression, got '.'[Learn More] main.mjs:28:475".

The browser version is Firefox 66 on Linux.

Hi, if anyone is wondering why all selfhosted services are down, it's because there is a power outage, so because of that the selfhosted server is dead (obviously). I sadly have no ETA but I hope power comes back quickly. I'm sorry for the inconveniences, but this is the type of things that can happen when you selfhost, it has its advantages (like owning all the data, no third parties, cheaper and better processing power) and disadvantages (like power and internet outages)

I was wondering if you would consider making your Redlib instance use dark theme by default just like your Invidious instance does. I saw some instances do that, so it must be possible. I'm 99% sure its my fault because im a moron, but anubis doesn't work on brave browser on pc for me (works with firefox, and with brave on a mobile).
It says the check is a success (outputs how much it took, etc) but then refreshes and does the anubis check again infinitely, saying it succeeded every time.

I don't have any adblocks or aggresive cookie blocking enabled (even disabled all adblocks/cookie/fingerprint blocks just to check) so i don't really get why this one browser just doesn't agree with anubis...again, probably something i did, but thought i'd report it.

Hey fijxu, I hate to comment anything remotely negative given how well you've managed to keep your Inv going for so long when most others have fallen. Much respect.

However for the best part of the last week, I havent been able to watch a single video to completion, due to it indefinately loading before the video starts or after just a few minutes. Sometimes it skips to the end of the video.

Also, as some others have stated, alot of the time I get a capthca.

Create a new profile, open that profile, use Invidious. If it works, it's an issue with the configuration of your current profile.

I've tested Anubis on Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, Brave for PC and for Android, Throium for Windows 7, Supermium for Windows 7, Pale Moon for Windows 7, Vivaldi, Epiphany (Gnome WEB), Falkon, they all pass.

Please use another way to block bots, the current one doesn’t understand different versions of Javascript so people who report it here on the guess book are either using Webkit version from Apple, Open Source alternatives of JavaScript and older versions. Anubis can not confirm if you do have a JavaScript and just bugs out. This is a flaw that might get exploited soon if not fix.
